Free lancers is the first Portuguese wine "alcohol".

Launched in 1944, the Lancers brand has been always been a successful case of wines from José Maria da Fonseca.

Visit the American Henry Behar to José Maria da Fonseca, before the end of the war, and its proposal to launch a rose wine in the United States, was the big turning point of the company's business since then.

The image of the Lancers always identified a nice product, unpretentious, with an easily readable name (adapted from the painting "Las Lanzas" the Spanish painter Velasquez, who is Behar confessed admirer), versatile with any type of food, and the scope the new generations of US consumers, thus presenting all the requirements necessary for the dispersion of its consumption.
