As part of producing a White Douro in top category range, we focus on the idea of ??combining the best varieties of the region and allow their smooth integration with French oak, creating more structure and complexity. The Carvalhas White was born, inicially, in 2010 through an ambitious approach to small plots of white grapes located in one of the highest points of the Fifth, where Viosinho and Gouveio castes benefit from a high altitude (400m) and fresh breezes, providing ideal conditions for the maturation of white grapes.
 
A clean white, bright citrus color and golden hues that shows all its splendor through exotic flavors and very intense of orange and apricot flower with vanilla nuances and toast, from the wooden stage. Although full-bodied on the palate, press much for its elegance and complexity of flavors, which together a very much alive acidity, long finish and persistent. The White Carvalhas is a highly gastronomic wine that can be enjoyed while young, but will certainly reward the great fans after a few years in bottle.
