Named after the iconic tree that dominates the terrace of Quinta do Noval, the Cedro do Noval is an authentic expression of the Douro.

GRAPES
The Cedro do Noval is a blended wine that uses the noble Douro grape varieties and Syrah. We planted our first vines of Syrah in 2000. The Syrah adapts perfectly to the Douro and express the soil characteristics rather than their specific varietal flavor.

GRAPES OF ORIGIN
All the grapes come from vineyards of Quinta do Noval.

VINIFICATION
We use the reassembly method for wine in stainless steel vats, at a fixed temperature of 26ºC.

MATURITY
All the wine is aged in French oak barrels for about 18 months.
