12 months in new and used French and American oak barrels / Grapes of the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional varieties / Shale soils of the Upper Douro.

Aroma of intense complexity, aromas of forest fruits and Touriga Franca stew, spices and red fruits of Tinta Roriz and very fresh and elegant floral notes of violet from the Touriga Nacional. Stage of 12 months in American and French barrels give the stage notes of a great Douro wine of modern and international profile. In the mouth is sweet and enveloping, with very soft noble tannins, long and hot end.
I suggest meat and game dishes, cod and Mediterranean cuisine in general.
