The Balvenie Doublewood is a single malt 12 years, which gets its distinctive character, because it is aged in two types of wood. During maturation the whiskey is transferred from traditional oak casks for hooves Sherry. Each stage of aging the thus confers Balvenie different tastes which result from this unique malt. Traditional hulls give you a soft touch character and Sherry casks add it depth and full flavor.

TASTING NOTES:

NOSE: Sweet fruit and Sherry notes, supplemented with honey and vanilla.

TASTE: Smooth and luscious with combination of nuts, cinnamon and a little Sherry.

END: Long and warm.
